WORKED EXAMPLE

Calculating Profit at a High-Level Farm Spot

Your Net Profit per Hour is 4,000,000 Coin. Your Net Profit per Day (24 hours) is 96,000,000 Coin.

You are farming with a party at a popular high-level spot. You've tracked earnings and expenses. Now, you want to see your actual net profit per hour and per day. This helps decide if the spot is worth your time.

Gross Coin per Hour (your share)1,200,000 CoinDrop Value per Hour (your share)3,500,000 CoinExpenses per Hour700,000 Coin
FormulaThe calculator uses a simple formula. It finds your net profit per hour. This is your adjusted coin plus adjusted drop value, minus hourly expenses. `Net Profit per Hour = (Gross Coin per Hour) + (Drop Value per Hour) - (Expenses per Hour)`
  1. First, add your gross coin and drop value to get your total gross income: 1,200,000 + 3,500,000 = 4,700,000 Coin.
  2. Next, subtract hourly expenses from this total to find your true net profit: 4,700,000 - 700,000 = 4,000,000 Coin.
ScenarioNet Profit per HourNet Profit per Day
Spot A4,000,000 Coin96,000,000 Coin
Spot B3,200,000 Coin76,800,000 Coin
Original interpretation

This spot earns you 4,000,000 Coin per hour. Over a full day, that's 96,000,000 Coin. This is a very profitable location, suggesting good use of your time. Consider spending more time here. Always compare this to other spots. Check item prices often with the market-tracker tool.

Limitations

  • Your input values must be accurate. If your estimated drops or coin are off, the profit will be too. Gather data over several hours for better averages.
  • Market prices for drops change constantly. An item worth a lot today might be cheap tomorrow. Use the market-tracker tool to stay updated on values.
  • Actual farming efficiency varies. Downtime for breaks, deaths, or bad pulls affect your real hourly rate. The tool assumes consistent farming.
  • Party dynamics impact your share. If a party member goes AFK, your share might increase. If they pull poorly, your gross might drop.
  • The tool does not account for rare, high-value drops. These can skew hourly profit significantly. Consider them bonus income, not consistent earnings.
