About this tool

In Metin2, hitting your target is crucial for effective combat. Missed attacks reduce your damage and can be frustrating, especially against tough bosses or when seeking rare drops. Every missed swing wastes time and resources, making your character less efficient.

The Metin2 Precision Planner removes the guesswork from your combat strategy. It helps you accurately estimate your hit chance against any enemy based on your Precision stat and their Evasion. Use this tool to confidently adjust your gear and bonuses, ensuring your attacks land more often for a stronger character and smoother gameplay experience.

How to use it

  1. 01

    Enter Your Precision Stat

First, enter your character's current Precision stat. You can find this number on your character sheet in the game. This is your base value that the tool will use for all calculations.

  2. 02

    Input Target Evasion

Next, input the Evasion stat of the target enemy you plan to fight. This could be a specific mob, a dungeon boss, or even another player. You might need to look this up on a Metin2 wiki or database for accurate values.

  3. 03

    Set Desired Hit Chance

Then, set your desired Target Hit Chance percentage. Most players aim for a high number, like 90% or 95%, especially for important fights where consistent hits are critical.

  4. 04

    View Estimated Results

The tool will instantly show you your estimated hit chance with your current stats. It also suggests how much more precision you might need to reach your desired target hit chance. This gives you clear numbers to work with.

  5. 05

    Adjust Your Gear

Use these calculated numbers to make informed decisions about your gear and stat distribution. You can swap items, add bonuses, or re-evaluate your build to optimize your Precision and hit your targets more reliably.

WORKED EXAMPLE

Worked example

To achieve a 90% hit chance against this boss, you would need a total of 900 Precision. This means you must find an additional 750 Precision from your equipment, buffs, or character stats.

Let's say you are trying to farm a specific boss. This boss has a high evasion stat, making it difficult to hit consistently. You want to make sure your attacks land often, aiming for a 90% hit chance, to maximize your damage and ensure a smooth fight.

Your Current Precision Stat150Boss's Evasion Stat100Desired Target Hit Chance90%
FormulaThe tool uses a common combat formula to estimate hit chance. `Hit Chance = (Your Precision / (Your Precision + Target Evasion)) * 100%` To find the Precision needed for a target hit chance: `Precision Needed = Target Evasion * (Target Hit Chance / (100% - Target Hit Chance))` *Note: Hit chance is usually capped in games, often at 95% or 100%. This tool assumes no hard cap for calculation, but in-game results might differ if a cap exists.*
  1. First, let's see your current hit chance with 150 Precision against 100 Evasion: `Hit Chance = (150 / (150 + 100)) * 100%` `Hit Chance = (150 / 250) * 100%` `Hit Chance = 0.6 * 100% = 60%` With your current gear, you only hit 60% of the time. This is quite low for a boss and will lead to many missed attacks.
  2. Now, let's find out how much Precision you need for a 90% hit chance against 100 Evasion: `Precision Needed = 100 * (90% / (100% - 90%))` `Precision Needed = 100 * (0.90 / 0.10)` `Precision Needed = 100 * 9` `Precision Needed = 900` You would need 900 Precision to reach a 90% hit chance against this specific boss.
  3. Compare your current Precision to the needed Precision: `Precision Difference = 900 - 150 = 750` You need an additional 750 Precision. This is a significant amount, suggesting you might need to rethink your build or target a slightly lower hit chance for practicality.
Your PrecisionTarget EvasionEstimated Hit Chance

23310070%
40010080%
66710087%
90010090%
190010095%

The tool shows that your current 150 Precision only gives you a 60% hit chance. To reach your desired 90% hit chance against this boss, you need a massive 900 Precision. This means you need to find 750 more Precision from your gear or buffs. This might be too expensive or difficult for your current setup. You might consider aiming for 80% or 85% instead, which can be more practical while still offering a good hit rate.

Limitations

  • This tool gives you solid estimates. However, it cannot account for every game mechanic.
  • **Game Version:** The calculations are based on Metin2's combat system as of July 2026. Future game updates might change formulas. Always double-check in-game after major patches.
  • **Hidden Stats:** Some enemies might have hidden evasion bonuses. Certain skills or buffs could also affect precision or evasion in ways not reflected here.
  • **Hit Chance Caps:** Many games cap hit chance, often at 95% or 100%. While the formula can calculate higher, your actual in-game hit chance might not exceed the cap.
  • **Other Combat Factors:** This planner focuses only on precision and evasion. It does not consider damage, critical hit chance, block chance, or other combat stats. These also impact your overall effectiveness.
